“My wife and I hired Third Space to build a lower level bar and we cannot overstate how happy we are with the finished product. Dustin was the lead on the project and was great to work with, as were Joe, Wes and the others who were involved. The construction process took place with minimal disruption (there were times when they were so quiet you would not even have known they were there!) and everyone was always courteous and professional. “3rd Space Builders came in to quote finishing our basement. After coming in more then what we had budgeted I sent Matt letter about their cost being way over our price. Matt sent me a very nice e-mail asking to meet me at my house to go over some options that might fit our budget. Matt and his co-worker showed up on time and had three options that fit our budget. I appreciated Matt’s honestly. After reviewing a few other quotes we picked 3rd space.
Before work started on the basement Mitch and Rich met with me in the basement to review the scope of work. One item I was very worried about was the hardwood flooring I had just installed that the workers would be walking over. I made it very clear that this was a worry and Mitch and Rich assured me that they would do everything they could to protect it.
Work started in February. The demo was the first stage of the basement remodel. When I got home from work I had to call my wife to ask her if she saw any workers today because it didn’t look like anyone had been there. I was surprised to see the basement demo started due to the cleanliness of the upstairs.
Work through March and April. Rich and Mitch were my two contacts with the work progress. When there were issues I just gave them a call and the issue was resolved. My wife and I were very happy with the work 3rd space put into our basement. We will recommend them in the future.”

“Third Space Builders was an outstanding company to work with. They are true professionals and they transformed an ugly back patio into one of the most attractive portions of our home.
From the first time he visited our home it was clear that Chris, the lead designer, was able to see plans and possibilities for improvement. The design that he came up with achieves everything that we’d hoped for and more: it provides us with privacy, it sets up a perfect place to grill, it ties our house together, it gives us a place to entertain, and the planters add color to a space that used to be nothing but gray concrete. The renderings he came up with were detailed and attractive and got us excited about what the finished project would look like.
Once the plans were completed, the project was turned over to the lead carpenter, Beau. Beau is a very careful and meticulous carpenter. As a former cabinet maker, every cut that he makes is precise down to the smallest fraction of an inch. From the quality of his work, Beau is clearly a craftsman or an artisan, not someone who slaps a project together so he can check it off of a list. He was friendly and courteous in all of his interactions with our family while he was on the job.
While it is true that our project ran a bit behind schedule, we feel that Third Space Builders deserves the highest possible recommendation. They have provided us with an awesome addition to our home that we’ll be able to enjoy for years to come and we appreciate the work that they’ve done.”

“Third Space Builders recently completed a deck and paver patio installation project at our home. Upon seeing a few other projects they had done in our neighborhood, we decided to reach out via the website for a consultation. The response to the website inquiry was immediate and the first appointment was scheduled around a time that worked for us. Third Space was very attentive to our desires for the project, but at the same time encouraged us to get a little more creative and interesting with the project than we initially had thought of on our own.
Between the first visit and the fourth, we arrived at a design and plan that we were very satisfied with and agreed to move forward with the project. The total price was slightly higher than we had initially planned for going into the consultation, but Third Space did make recommendations on what changes to make in order to bring a realistic total closer to our price point at the start of the project. Once the total project cost was agreed upon, there were no overages or added costs to us, which was a relief.
The paver patio portion of the project was completed first, and was done very quickly and efficiently by a crew of three to four guys, depending on the day. It was not uncommon for them to work 10+ hour days, and two guys worked all day on one Saturday. The deck portion of the project was next, and did take slightly longer to start and complete, but much of that was because of delays in the receipt of the necessary building permits from the township and a few days of poor weather. The final deck product is very unique and really did come out even better than we expected. The post project follow up was timely, and the touch ups were completed quickly. Overall, Third Space did a great job start to finish with the project, and we would recommend them to others looking for an outdoor space.”
