Third Space Builders is a Design/Build residential remodeling company focusing on custom kitchens, baths, basements, room additions, and exterior living projects. Current service areas include Hilliard, Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Grandview, and Westerville.
Our Residential Skilled Carpenters are responsible for certain aspects of a project assigned to them. There is room to move up in the company for dedicated employees who invest their strengths and want to advance.
Job Duties
- Performing various skilled trade installations with the highest quality of craftsmanship including but not limited to framing, trim, cladding, flooring, doors and windows, cabinetry, tile work, hardware and fixtures, paint and drywall touch-up
- Working alongside network trade partners on a regular basis
- Communicating daily with and working under the supervision of the assigned Project Manager
- Job site security, maintenance, and cleanliness
- Assisting in procuring certain project materials on an as-needed basis and facilitating inspections
Requirements
- Well-rounded knowledge and ability to perform a variety of residential construction phases and components
- Strong customer service experience and effective communication skills
- Organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail and quality
- Ability to safely lift and handle heavy construction materials
- Must provide own tools and transportation
- Residential Construction: 5 years (Required)
- Residential Carpentry: 5 years (Required)
- Residential Remodeling: 5 years (Required)
- Valid Driver’s License

PROJECT MANAGER
Description
Third Space Builders is a Design/Build residential remodeling company focusing on custom kitchens, baths, basements, room additions, and exterior living projects. Current service areas include Hilliard, Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Grandview, and Westerville.
Our Project Managers are responsible for all aspects of projects assigned to them by the Production Manager.
Job Duties
- Managing and improving project budgets and schedules so they begin and end on time and within budget
- Occasionally perform various carpentry tasks with the highest quality of craftsmanship including but not limited to framing, trim, cladding, flooring, doors and windows, cabinetry, tile work, hardware and fixtures, paint and drywall touch-up
- Locating and hiring quality trade-partners, assigning crews to projects, and providing daily oversight
- Managing trade overlap and at times performing installations of various building materials
- Clear and constant communication with customers, providing a steady flow of information to them regarding all aspects of their project
- Notifying, creating, and executing change order documents when necessary
- Promptly collecting scheduled draw payments
- Assisting in planning schedules and budgets, ordering materials, monitoring and submitting building permits, and facilitating inspections
- Job site maintenance and cleanliness
Requirements

- Computer skills in job management software
- Residential Custom Building/Renovation Experience: 5 years (Required)
- Residential Project Management Experience: 5 years (Required)

Description
Third Space Builders is a Design/Build residential remodeling company focusing on custom kitchens, baths, basements, room additions, and exterior living projects. Current service areas include Hilliard, Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Upper Arlington, Worthington, Grandview, and Westerville.
Our Architectural Design, Project Development, and Sales team is responsible for developing interior and exterior designs and estimate within the client’s target budget, lead qualifying, and client selections. The Architectural Design, Project Development, and Sales team works closely with our production staff, trade partners, and clients throughout each project from initial consultation to job completion.
Job Duties
- Pre-qualify and schedule leads appropriately and inputting data into our Project Management software
- Arrange and schedule necessary meetings with the client and establish a target budget on the initial consultation
- Explain our Third Space Builders design-build process to prospective leads
- Negotiate and acquire written quotes from vendors and subcontractors prior to designing/estimating
- Set up realistic deadlines with the client
- Create design plans and elevations to building code(s) using our Chief Architect Software and estimate using our Project Management software
- Submitting necessary HOA, zoning, and building permits as required by the municipalities
- Constant communication with production, clients, and trade partners throughout the design and construction process
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Residential Design Work Experience
- 3-5 Years of using a CAD program (preferably Chief Architect)
- 3-5 Years of Prior Residential Sales Experience
- 3-5 Years of Prior Residential Construction Estimating
- Microsoft Office and Project Management software experience
- Strong customer service experience and effective communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
